In a free market democracy the citizen and the consumer are the same person. While the citizen only votes every four years or so, the consumer gets to vote with their pocket book every day. So in many instances the entrepreneur's innovation will make the world a better place faster than the rules imposed by most enlightened government. Innovations for which the world then rewards them handsomely. Is this a great system or what?!
